Florida Students Launch Awareness Campaign

Aim Higher Florida is a state-wide initiative established and managed by the students of the state university system of Florida. The objective of Aim Higher is to raise awareness on the positive impacts of increasing funding for higher education for our state university system.

Florida Ballot Amendment #12 Fails

On November 6, 2012, 58% of Florida Voters struck down Florida Ballot Amendment #12. The Amendment sought to create a Council of State University Student Body Presidents under the management of the Board of Governors of the State University System of Florida (BOG).

SGA’s Annual Campus Safety Walk is 11/20/2012

In an effort to “Put Students First” SGA will be hosting the annual Campus Safety Walk. Accompanied by campus safety experts, SGA members and students will roam the campus to ensure that all areas are well lit, secure, and safe.

The walk will begin at 6:30 pm from the Campus Police Station in Parking Garage 5. This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
