Academic Affairs Committee

The Academic Affairs Committee is part of the Executive Branch of Student Government. The ultimate goal of this committee is to serve student’s academic needs. Some of the main projects that this committee will plan and execute are: FIU World’s Ahead Finals Week (including Cram Jam), remodeling the professor rating system, sitting on university committees as a voice for students (textbook affordability, and student academic conduct), and planning new projects that will further student academic success.

 

 

Each committee member will work with the Academic Affairs Coordinator to ensure the success of these projects. The positions on this committee include:

 

  • Academic Affairs Subchair
  • World’s Ahead Finals Week Chairs (2 positions)
  • Student Academic Project Chair
  • Student Committee Chair

 

All positions are currently filled, but applications will open again next Fall. Stay tuned!
