The Student Government Intern Program has been established to teach students the duties, obligations and responsibilities of the Student Government Association (SGA). By pairing students with mentors in Student Government, student will have an opportunity to learn what SGA is about. The interns will complete an internship during the academic year alongside attending weekly Intern meetings to gain the knowledge needed along the way. This program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to work with current student leaders as well as meet prominent members of the FIU community. Needless to say, by joining the intern program students will be taking a big step towards becoming an active member of the FIU family while developing themselves as a leader.
