Welcome to 2014 SGA Elections Page!
Below you can find all the information regarding the elections process, candidates, and all the forms necessary for this year’s elections cycle.
Undergraduate must be enrolled at Florida International University in at least 9.0 credit hours, and must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 and 2.0 term. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 3.0 credit hours and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 and 2.5 term. Law students must be enrolled in at least 7.0 credit hours, and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 and 2.0 term.
All candidates must be fully admitted to the School/College they wish to represent, or present a signed letter from the appropriate dean. All students must have at least 50% of their classes at which ever campus they wish to apply. Refer to SGA Constitution, By Laws, and Elections Code for further information.
All candidates must not be under any academic or disciplinary sanctions during their time in office and/or while running for their respective position as stated in the FIU Student Handbook.Application Process Instructions:

Step 2: Print out and submit the SGA Qualification Verification Form [Click here to download]. Please have the form completed by the Registrar’s office and turn it in at the SGA Office (GC 211) by February 28
Step 3: After turning in your SGA Qualification Verification, someone from the SGA Office will be in contact you with you soon!
